Library Resources: The college has a central library that housed learning resources like about 21000 text and reference books in the existing subjects and courses, two daily newspapers, several magazines, journals and question bank. The library is computerized for its resource management and lending activity. With the introduction of the Choice based Credit System (CBCS), the library has enriched its stock with newer titles to cater to the needs of the students. The library is semi-computerised with Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to search a book by author, title and subject. Recently the library has been upgraded for automated issue-return activities and equipped with Radio Frequency identification (RFID) and anti-theft detector using fund available from RUSA. This also works as an automated inventory management system as well as a self-service check-out by the member-readers.
E-Resource: The library offers access to Inflibnet that stores thousands of journals, articles, books and dissertations for the purpose of reference and research of the teachers and students alike. There are some computers equipped with internet in the library for surfing on the net and accessing e-resources. Aklong with this, the college has subscribed to different e-journals and e-books for the academic benefit of the students and teachers.
To help students get through competitive examination, the Career Development Cell of the college has also housed relevant gazettes, magazines and news papers in the central library.
In-house reading facility: The cool and quiet ambient reading hall in the library attract teachers and students for in-house reading. For serious reader there are individual carrels in between the book racks in the library.
Student are issued Library card that help them borrow books for home and for in house reading.
Library of the Remedial Course: In addition to the central library there is another library dedicated to the students participating in Remedial Courses. It has some books in relevant subjects for in-house reading as well as for borrowing by the students. Students are supplied with photocopies of interesting notes and reading materials from this library.
