Statutory Declaration on RTI ACT

Declare that Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory declaration of Purash Kanpur Haridas Nandi Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur, Howrah. It covers all the rules and regulations which are implemented by the Govt. of India, Govt .of West Bengal, affiliating university (University of Calcutta), and the Governing Body of the college.

Declare that the Mahavidyalaya comes under “Grants in Aid” category and therefore all financial transactions are audited by the Government. The Mahavidyalaya has different sub-committees to maintain discipline in the campus.

Declare that All the committees of the Mahavidyalaya are under Statutory Bodies and come under Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005. The applications under the RTI Act along with a postal order/ demand draft of Rs 10.00 are obtained in favour of the Principal, Purash Kanpur Haridas Nandi Mahavidyalaya, sent to the SPIO which is then replied to the applicant after collecting required data/information the responsible persons of college office. All the information of the institution under Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 are open for public scrutiny and can be obtained by any citizen of India.
